Kia Ora. In Stick News today, Japanese electronics company Sanyo is struggling. The president met with shareholders last week to apologise.

Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd. was founded in 1947. At first it made bicycle lamps. In the 50s, it also made radios and washing machines.
Recently, the company has been struggling. Last week the president apologized that the company had fallen deeper into the red in fiscal 2005.
“We are very sorry for the concern and trouble we have caused to all our shareholders”, he said.

Sarah By the river. I was biking back from a lesson along the river and it was crawling across the path.

Tom  Wow. How big was it?

Sarah It was quite big. It was really long and it was about this big.

Tom  Wow. Scary.
