Sunday Kitchen#159 Semolina Pudding

The other day I saw some semolina in the supermarket. I haven’t seen semolina for years. I’d forgotten it even existed. We used to eat semolina pudding when I was a kid, so I thought I’d buy some and try making it.
I put a quarter of a cup into a pot with half a cup of soymilk and turned the element on and stirred it.
I added a tablespoon of sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla and kept stirring it.
It was getting quite thick, so I decided to add another half a cup of soymilk.
It went a bit lumpy – probably because I stopped stirring it for a while. I think you’re supposed to stir it continuously. Also I think I should’ve put in all of the milk at the start.
Anyway, it wasn’t too bad. I put some in a small bowl with a couple of slices of banana, some frozen blueberries, a piece of chocolate and some coconut.
Very tasty.
