But the flood protection squad isn’t concerned about Sunday’s result.
Experts are predicting that Japan will win by at least 4 goals.

conversations with sarah
# 50 Where is Croatia?
Asking about a country.

Sarah looks at information on the net about Croatia.
Step 1: Repeat Junko's lines.
Step 2: Read Junko's lines on the screen and talk to Sarah.

Junko Who's Japan playing next?

Sarah Croatia.

Junko Oh, that's right. Where is Croatia?

Sarah In Europe, I think. Just a minute, I'll check. Yeah, it's in Europe.

Junko I don't really know anything about Croatia.

Sarah Yeah. Neither do I. Oh, it used to be part of Yugoslavia.

Junko When did it become independent?

Sarah 1991.

Junko Tell me something else about Croatia.

Sarah OK. Um, there was a war from 1991 to 1995. Two Nobel prize winners came from Croatia, some of the first fountain pen came from Croatia, and ties come from Croatia.
