STICK NEWS

Kia Ora. In Stick News today, a development company in New Zealand has been fined for cutting branches off a tree.

The 70-year-old tree was sitting happily minding its own business in Wellington, New Zealand when the attack occurred.
By the time police arrived, all its branches had been hacked off.
Police caught those responsible for the attack. They were two brothers who own a development company.

Today in court the company was fined 14 thousand dollars. They’ve also been ordered to replace the tree, and install a plaque at the foot of the new tree outlining its history. And that was Stick News for Monday the 17th of July. Kia Ora.
