# 45 You heard me wrong.
This conversation is from the movie speed. (Chapter 8)

Step 1: Repeat Annie’s lines.
Step 2: Read Annie’s lines on the screen and talk to Sarah.

Stephens First time in LA.

Annie Oh, no, I live here.

Stephens No, I mean mine. Oh, that’s just funny. You heard me wrong. No, I’m sightseeing.

Annie Oh, really.

Stephens Yeah. I hate to use the word ‘tourist’ but it’s not like I can hide it.

Annie Not really.

Stephens Ahh geez, you know, it took me 3 hours just to get here from the airport. I got so lost. LA is one large place. Course, you live here, you probably don’t notice. I’m such a yokel.

Annie Oh, geez.

Stephens There, I said it. Ha ha ha.

Annie You know what, I got gum on my seat. Gum!
