Big internet companies are called internet giants. Four of the giants are google, yahoo, eBay and MSN.
They all want to be the most powerful so they always fight each other. This is called competition. The battles have intensified recently. And now two of the internet giants have announced they will fight together.
This is called a strategic partnership.
Some people are saying that the companies may eventually merge.
