Sunday Kitchen #36 Wasabi
In Japan, wasabi usually comes in a tube like this.
It’s like toothpaste, but it’s green.
The other day we bought some wasabi that wasn’t in a tube.
It was also white for some reason.
We ate in two different ways.
First we ate it on tofu.
Then we ate it with ochazuke.
We boiled some water with konbu dashi and vegetable stock.
Then put some rice in a bowl.
Poured the water over the rice.
Then sprinkled some sesame seeds on top.
Then wasabi.
Delicious.
