STICK NEWS
Kia Ora. In Stick News today American Actor Bruce Willis has sued a photographer for $1 million dollars for defamation.
Bruce Willis was walking into a Japanese restaurant in Hollywood when he came into contact with a photographer.
The photographer claimed that Bruce Willis hit him. He said he suffered a chipped tooth and a nose injury.
But Bruce Willis said he just held his hands in front of his face to avoid being blinded by the camera flashes.
Willis is now suing the photographer for defamation. The lawsuit claims he suffered at least $1 million in damage to his “reputation and standing in the community, as well as shame, mortification, hurt feelings, embarrassment, humiliation and damage to the value of his name, likeness and goodwill”.
And that was Stick News for Wednesday the 21st of June.

Hi Sarah, I just discovered ur show on youtube. You have a very good shows for english learner here. Hmm..I have a question. I came from a non-english country but now I'm studying in Japan for already 5 years. The problem is that I'm bad in english so that now I'm thinking of taking the TOEFL test. I'm wondering how should I start? Other problem is that I'm busy with classes during weekday. Could you give any idea?
I’m not sure if I understand your question… do you mean “How do I go about taking the TOEFL test?” or “What is a good way to study for TOEFL?”
I don’t know too much about the TOEFL test. But I would recommend finding out as much as possible about the test. Then buying a TOEFL study book and studying from that. Do lots of practice tests. Read a lot… Good luck!
Thanks a lot for introducing the pronunciation lesson at www.manythings.org.
